Ashfold was appointed in April 2015, to implement the construction design management, after a competitive selection process. This involved the development of the design and the subsequent choice of contractors to carry out the installation. In this capacity Ashfold has managed the appointment of the architect and other specialist designers. It has developed a strategic masterplan programme and agreed a budget for both the construction and the client’s furniture and IT budget.
The development of the Category B fit out for a 10,000 sqft head office for a private client.
The Heals Building is a Grade 2 listed building with many existing historic features. The design has been developed by architect Cove Burgess to recognise these original features but also accommodate the client’s exacting brief.
