Following a recommendation by a member of the client team, Ashfold was pleased to be appointed in April 2019 to project manage the development of the design and act as employer’s agent for the subsequent installation by Open Contracts.
In this capacity we managed the appointment of the architect and other specialist designers, including M+E design support by FLOH Engineers. We collaborated with the entire team to deliver a well-considered and interesting fit-out on budget and on programme.
Elsley House is a beautiful example of London Art Deco architecture and the 5th office floor has been developed speculatively to Cat A standard by Great Portland Estates. The commercial tenant commissioned BuckleyGrayYeoman Architects to design the office fit-out, following their previous work with the client.
BuckleyGrayYeoman have designed an office space that complements the Art Deco aesthetic of the building without feeling temporary. Enhanced A/C and lighting adds to the feel of the space and the complexity of the fit-out project.
